Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Rajma
  • 1/2 cup black urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp ginger juveniles
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 no green chilli
  • 1 large tomato - chopped
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp kasuri methi
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream

Instructions

  • Soak Rajma and urad dal whole in water for 8 hours. Pressure cook with enough water to 5-6 whistles. It has to be mushy and well cooked
  • Heat oil in a pan, crackle cumin seeds
  • Saute ginger juveniles, chopped onion until onions are pink
  • Add green chilly, chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder and mix well.
  • Pour in the cooked dal, add salt, close and cook for 5 minutes
  • Open and add garam masala, Kasuri methi and fresh cream. Switch off after 2 minutes
