- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 5-6 cloves garlic crushed
- 1/2 cup shallots - crushed
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- 2 cups tapioca - cooked
- salt to taste
Heat coconut oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds.
Let it splutter, then add urad dal split and cumin seeds, red chillies and curry leaves
Together add crushed garlic and shallots. Coarsely crush them in mortar pestle and add them
fry for a minute until onions are pink.
Add turmeric powder and chilli powder to the onions
Add cooked tapioca pieces. (Cook tapioca with salt and turmeric powder).
Adjust salt and fry for 2 more minutes until slightly fried and serve hot
