Sweet dry fruits pulao ~ Sweet Pulao is healthy and yummy recipe made with the richness of dry fruits.
Almonds, Dry grapes and pista are used in this recipe. They are finely chopped and used in the recipe. You can also grate them and add it if you don’t like chunks. Cooking it in milk helps it get soft and binds well with rice.
I made this for my little one and the rice is little on the mashy side, In case you don’t want that add very little milk and ‘almost’ cooked rice.

Dry fruits Pulao
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp shahi jeera
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped dry fruits mix of your choice
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 cups cooked rice
- a pinch saffron threads
Instructions
- Heat ghee and pop in shahi jeera
- add sugar
- Add in Dry grapes, chopped almonds, chopped pista. Mix well and cook until sugar is melted.
- Pour in milk and mix well
- Add a pinch of turmeric and let the milk come to a boil while you stir continuously.
- Add cooked rice and mix gently.
- sprinkle saffron threads and give it a toss.
- close and cook in simmer until Milk is absorbed and serve hot !
