Ingredients

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp chana dal
  • 1/8 cup onions - chopped
  • 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup tomato - chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/8 tsp garam masala
  • 2 cups rice noodles/cooked sevai
  • a few coriander leaves - chopped

Instructions

  • heat oil and pop in mustard seeds along with urad dal and chana dal
  • further add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and fry until slightly brown. 
  • furthermore, add tomatoes, salt and fry until mushy. 
  • to this, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala is also added. 
  • lastly, put in the cooked noodles/sevai and mix well. 
  • garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with coconut chutney.
