- 2 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- 1/2 tsp chana dal
- 1/8 cup onions - chopped
- 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 cup tomato - chopped
- salt to taste
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/8 tsp garam masala
- 2 cups rice noodles/cooked sevai
- a few coriander leaves - chopped
heat oil and pop in mustard seeds along with urad dal and chana dal
further add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and fry until slightly brown.
furthermore, add tomatoes, salt and fry until mushy.
to this, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala is also added.
lastly, put in the cooked noodles/sevai and mix well.
garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with coconut chutney.
