Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Chicken

For marination:

  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 3 dry Red chilli - broken
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Jeera powder
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Salt to taste

For fry:

  • 2 medium Onions - finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Oil
  • Salt - for the onions
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

Instructions

  • Marinate the chicken for an hour with all the ingredients given in above section "for marination". Let it sit for an hour.
  • Heat oil, add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and little salt to fry until onions are turned brown. Now add the marinated chicken and fry it until the water starts coming out of chicken..
  • Now close the lid and let it cook for 15 min in medium flame. Once chicken is 3/4th cooked, open the lid and let the water dry.
  • Now on cook in simmer.. add chilli powder and garam masala to taste and mix well. Let it fry in simmer for 15 min. serve hot.
