- 3/4 Cup Shallots
- 4-5 Long dry Red chillies
- 1/4 Cup Chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 Lemon sized Tamarind
- 1/4 Tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/4 Tsp Urad dal split
- 1/2 Spring Curry leaves
Heat oil, fry shallots, red chillies until shallots turn brown.
Add roughly chopped coriander and fry for a min.
Switch off the flame and add a tamarind piece and salt. Mix well and Let it cool.
Add enough water and grind it to a smooth paste.
Season it with spluttered mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
