Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Tender jackfruit - Cubes
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut
  • 1 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 Long Green chilly
  • 1 Spring Curry leaves
  • 1/4 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 Tsp Urad dal
  • 1/4 Tsp Chana dal
  • 2 Tbsp Shallots chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Peel skin, cut cubes out of tender jackfruit. Wash n clean and pressure cook with salt and turmeric powder to 3-4 whistles until mushy.Cool it and Mash them with hands or fork to shred them.
  • Grind coconut, green chilli, cumin and curry leaves to a paste. 
  • Heat oil, crackle mustard seeds followed by urad dal and chana dal.
  • Fry shallots till pink and add shredded jackfruit and ground masala. Mix well and add salt. Let it cook for 5-10 min in simmer.
