- 3/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp urad dal
- 1/2 tsp chana dal
- 1 spring curry leaves
- 3 green chillies broken
- 2 medium onions chopped finely
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp crushed peanuts
- salt to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 large lemon
Heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, green chillies, chopped onions and turmeric powder.
Saute till onions are pink.
add crushed peanuts and mix well.
add salt and mix again
Drop in Cooked rice and gently mix them.
squeeze juice of 1/2 large lemon into rice and gently mix. Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves
