Ingredients

  • 2 cups agathi flowers - finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp chana dal
  • 2 medium onion - finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp moong dal
  • 2-3 tbsp grated coconut

Instructions

  • Clean and finely chop the agathi flowers.
  • Heat a pan, add oil
  • crackle mustard seeds and add urad dal and chana dal
  • when it changes colour, add finely chopped onions. fry until pink.
  • Now, add chopped flowers, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, water and moong dal. Keep it open and let it cook in simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the flowers are cooked well.
  • Switch off and add grated coconut. Mix well.
