Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup green gram
  • 1/4 cup raw rice
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/4 cup coconut pieces
  • 3/4 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Dry roast green gram until aromatic and slightly changes colour, Take it in a bowl
  • Dry roast raw rice until it puff. Take it in the same bowl along with green gram
  • grind it to a coarse powder,
  • Heat ghee in a pan and roast coconut pieces until slightly brown
  • Melt jaggery in a pan. Add little water and mix until it melts and comes to a boil
  • Add the fried coconut, cardamom powder to the ground powder and mix well
  • Take a tbsp of the mixture to a plate or bowl and add jaggery to it. mix well and make firm balls out of it.
