wash and soak rice and dal in water for 30 minutes
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Add curry leaves, chopped shallots, chopped tomatoes
Add sliced carrot to it
fry for 2 minutes in medium flame.
Add the soaked rice to this. add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt needed
Add water in 1:4 ratio
Close and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles. If making it for babies, cook for more whistles. Open and mash it well
serve warm with a dash of ghee.
