Ingredients

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp chana dal
  • 1 spring curry leaves
  • 2 nos red chilli
  • 1/8 cup onions - chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 cups rice noodles/sevai - cooked
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • heat oil in a pan and pop in mustard seeds. add urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and red chilli to the pan. 
  • also add chopped onions, salt to taste and fry until slightly brown. 
  • further add turmeric powder and give it a good mix. 
  • lastly, add cooked rice sevai, lemon juice and mix well to blend the spices with the noodles all over. 
  • serve hot with coconut chutney.
