- 3 no Amla/gooseberry/periya nellikai
- 3 scoops thick curd
- salt to taste
For tempering
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp garlic chopped
- 1 no ripe red chilli/green chilli - chopped
- 4-5 nos small onions - finely chopped
- salt to taste
Mix chopped amla, curd and salt in a bowl and keep it aside.
Heat coconut oil and crackle mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic chopped, ripe red chilli chopped and small onions chopped.
Add a little salt for frying and fry until onions turn transparent.
Pour the tempering into the amla curd mix.
Mix well and serve fresh with biryani or pulao.
