Pepper based yogurt curry recipe for rice
Servings: 4 People
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp pepper powder
- 1 cup curd
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 3-4 tbsp grated coconut
- salt to taste
Mix water, pepper powder, curd and turmeric powder in a pan.
Cook it while stirring continuously until thick.
For tempering: Heat coconut oil and add curry leaves and grated coconut.
Fry the coconut until reddish brown.
add the tempering and salt to the curry and mix well.
cook for another half a minute and serve
