Agathi flowers and peanut stir fry

Ingredients

  • 10-15 Nos Agathi flowers - Chopped finely
  • 2 Tbsp Peanuts - Boiled
  • 1 No Onion - Finely chopped
  • 1 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 Tsp Urad dhal split
  • 1 Tsp Channa dal
  • 1 Tsp turmeric powdder
  • 1 Tsp chilli powder
  • To tastw Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Grated coconut

Instructions

  • Heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal.
  • Add chopped onions and fry until it turns pink.
  • Put in chopped agathi flowers, turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt.
  • Mix well and let it cook for a minute or two. Need not add water as the flower lets out water. Add cooked peanuts to it.
  • Cook for another minute or two again keeping it open. Sprinkle water only if necessary. Finally add grated coconut. Stir well and serve!

Notes

Crushed Garlic and cumin seeds can also be added to this to avoid any bloating. Flowers gets cooked fast at the maximum by 10 minutes. So keep tasting inbetween to check if its good.
