Cook Kadala paruppu(Bengal gram) until mushy and keep it aside. Cut chow chow into cubes and keep it aside
Heat Oil in Cooker, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
Add cumin seeds, Red chilli, curry leaves, Chopped small onions, and Chopped garlic. Saute well and once onions turn pink, add tomatoes and saute well.
Add chow chow & cooked dal. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and sambar powder
Add Little water and cook it to 3-4 whistles
Open it and smash well. Seasoning (Optional) : Heat coconut oil and add red chilli and curry leaves. fry a little and add the seasoning to the curry
