Chicken marinated with green chilly, ginger and garlic and roasted till dry

Ingredients

  • 7-8 Long Green chillies - Adjust according to the spice of green chilly
  • 2 inch ginger
  • 6-8 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 kg chicken
  • 1 large onion - sliced
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  • Grind together green chilli, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Marinate chicken with ground paste. Sprinkle lemon juice. Set it aside for 30 min.

  • Heat oil, fry sliced onions until brown. drop in the marinated chicken pieces, close and cook until raw smell goes off and chicken is cooked. Moisture from chicken is enough for it to get cooked. Only If needed, add little water. Once chicken is cooked, open and let it dry.
