Ingredients

  • 1/2 loaf wheat bread made to crumbs
  • 1/2 cup spinach before washing
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  • Make bread crumbs with fresh bread/use ready made breadcrumbs.
  • Cook Spinach with little water for 5-8 minutes.Strain and keep it ready
  • Pressure cook potatoes, peel and mash them well. Keep it aside.
  • Separate Egg whites and yolks in two different bowls.
  • Whip Egg white until it gets creamy and stiff. To the consistency where you can tilt the bowl and it does not fall
  • Beat Egg yolk with salt and pepper powder until combined.
  • Add mashed potatoes and beat again until smooth without lumps.
  • Mashed potato egg yolk mixture to be added to the bread crumbs.
  • Fold Gently and then put in whipped Egg white. Mix gently.
  • Now add Red chilli powder and Grated Cheese. Fold in gently.
  • Preheat oven to 220 deg c.
  • Grease bowl, coat with a layer of breadcrumbs and pour in souffle mixture.
  • Bake at 220 deg c for 15 -18 min.
