  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp groundnut oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic - chopped
  • 1 cup shallots chopped
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1-2 tbsp peppercorns - crushed


  • Firstly, heat the three different oil in a pan and crackle cumin seeds
  • add the chopped garlic, chopped shallots ,salt and fry for 2 minutes. 
  • put in the cooked rice, crushed peppercorns and mix well
  • lastly, add turmeric powder and mix again keeping the flame on low heat. serve hot!
