Ingredients

  • 1 no green chilli
  • 2 no red chilli
  • 1 spring curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 medium onions - chopped
  • 1 large tomato - chopped
  • 1/8 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • salt - required

seasoning

  • 3-4 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 1 spring curry leaves

Instructions

  • Heat oil, drop in green chilli, red chillies and curry leaves. saute for half a minute Add  ginger garlic paste and chopped onions, Fry for a minute until translucent
  • Add chopped tomatoes and saute again. close and cook for a couple of minutes in medium flame until tomatoes are well cooked and mushy
  • Add all the spice powders. Fry until masalas are mixed and oil leaves out
  • Now goes in chicken pieces and salt. quick madras chicken curry recipe
    Mix well, close and cook in simmer without adding any water for 20-25 minutes.
    Water leaving out from chicken itself is sufficient to get cooked. Check for water in between and stir it.quick madras chicken curry recipeFor seasoning:
