Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized cauliflower
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5-6 no red chilli
  • 2 inch ginger
  • 5-6 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup corn flour
  • 1/3 cup curd
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 small pinch red food colour

Instructions

Preparing cauliflower for marination:

  • Separate medium sized florets from cauliflower, wash in running water. Boil water, add turmeric powder and salt.Put in the cauliflower pieces in it and let it come to a rolling boil. It approximately takes 3-5 minutes. When it comes to rolling boil, putt off
  • Strain the water and set the cauliflower aside to cool completely.

Preparing marination ingredients:

  • Soak red chillies in warm water for 5 minutes. Grind together ginger, garlic and soaked red chilli.
  • mix it with cauliflower florets in a mixing bowl.
  • Add together, corn flour, rice flour, pepper powder, curd, salt, turmeric powder
  • Sprinkle little water and mix well.
  • Mix red food colour in a tbsp water and add to the mixture.
  • Mix well and keep it ready
  • Heat oil. (Check if oil is hot by putting a piece of cauliflower in hot oil. If it comes to top, oil is hot enough)
  • Put the pieces to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • Strain it in paper towel.
  • Serve with onion rings and with a dash of lemon juice sprinkled on top.
