firstly, heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds.
When it crackles add garlic, chopped garlic, curry leaves and red chilli
fry for a minute and then add the tamarind water. soak a lemon sized tamarind in 3 cups water 10 minutes before you cook. squeeze the tamarind and pour the juice into the fried onions
add salt and turmeric powder, mix well and give it a boil for 5 minutes. Switch off and serve hot
