Cheese pasta is very much favourite for kids and I wanted to post this recipe on November 14th , childrens’ day. My little one love it for the reason that it is loaded with milk and cheese and creaminess. milk and cheese are good source of protein and can be given to kids.

But this pasta recipe cannot be used to pack in lunchbox as it may tend to go rubbery. It has to be taken when warm. I have used mozzarella cheese. You can either use the same or cheddar cheese or the mix of both for better results. If you want a creamy texture, then add more milk. I have made it little dry to suit our taste.

Cheese pasta Indian Style | Pasta in white sauce recipe – pictorial description:

• Firstly, Pour water to a pan, 
• put in 2 cups pasta of your choice in it
• add salt to taste
• drizzle oil to this to avoid stickiness in pasta
• Let it boil for 10 min or until the pastas are done;
• strain the pastas and let it cool
• For preparing sauce, melt butter in a pan. 
• let it get melted completely. 
• add the flour(maida) little at a time and
• keep stirring to make it a lump free dough
• pour in milk little at a time and give a brisk stir until its creamy 
• Add red chilli flakes
• Together goes in crushed peppercorns
• Drop in the half boiled vegetables. Cook vegetables with salt until half boiled. it has to retain the crunchiness. 
• Sprinkle little chaat masala but this is completely optional. 
• Furthermore, add mixed herbs to the sauce. 
• add the grated cheese to this
• further add milk to bring to the consistency you require
• mix well
• add salt to taste and mix again
• add the cooked pasta
• Mix thoroughly until sauce is well combined with pastas. 
• serve hot
