Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Ridge gourd peel/skin tightly packed
  • 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Shallots
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Chilli powder
  • Salt - To taste

Instructions

  • Peel the skin of ridge gourd. Wash them well and chop them finely.
  • Heat oil, crackle mustard seeds, saute shallots and drop in chopped skin.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder.
  • Mix well. Sprinkle little water and close for a minute or two and cook in simmer.Open and let it dry in simmer while stirring in between.
