- 500 Gms Anchovy/Nethili
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Tbsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Coriander powder
- 3/4 Tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 Tbsp Rice flour
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 4-5 Whole Peppercorns
- 1/2 Tsp Lemon juice
- Salt - To taste
- 2 Spring Curry leaves
- 1 Large Egg
Wash and clean the nethili fish. Marinate them with turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, ginger paste and rice flour.
Add crushed garlic, crushed peppercorns, egg and lemon juice and mix well. Add finely chopped curry leaves and Let it sit for 30 min to an hour.
Heat oil and deep fry in batches and get them out in paper towel. Serve hot with onion pieces.
