Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chopped dates
  • 2 tbsp chopped anjeer
  • 1 tbsp golden grapes
  • 2 tbsp black grapes
  • 5-6 chopped cashews
  • 6-7 chopped almonds
  • 4-5 dried raspberries
  • 1/2 cup non-alcoholic wine
  • 1/2 cup + 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tbsp clove powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup maida
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  • Soak chopped dry fruits in wine for 2 hours
  • Caramelize sugar and mix soaked fruits and clove powder
  • Blend eggs, vanilla, sugar, butter for wet mix
  • Add fruit mix into wet mix
  • Sift dry ingredients and fold into wet mix
  • Pour into greased tin and top with fruits
  • Bake at 180°C for 45 mins and 160°C for 10 mins
  • Cool fully, demould, slice and enjoy
