Erode style- Chicken Perattal
Chicken Perattal is spicy chicken fry famous in Erode and Salem side Tamil kitchens
Servings: 1 Kg Chicken
- 1 Kg Chicken
- 4 tbsp Chicken powder
- 2 Big Onions - Sliced
- 2 medium green chillies - slit vertically
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
Splutter the mustard seeds, add in curry leaves, green chilies and sliced onions. Saute until onions turn brown.
Put in the cooked chicken and 2 tbsp thanni kulambu podi and fry until the chicken is slightly roasted and fresh smell of powder goes off. Adjust salt if necessary.
