Wash the bottle gourd and slice them into 2 or 3 pieces. Gently Remove the inner white flesh.
Boil 3 cups water in a pan, Add Turmeric powder, Chilli powder and salt to it and mix well. Put in the lauki pieces in it. Close and cook until the pieces are half cooked. (If cooked more than that then it make break while stuffing) It has to be firm but slightly cooked.
Turn over the pieces inbetween and cook again. cook Approximately for 10 minutes. Take it out and keep it aside to cool
Stuffing/Filling:In a mixing bowl, add Boiled and smashed potatoes, Chopped dry grapes and chopped cashews, Khoya, Green chillies chopped, Desiccated coconut, Milk Powder, chilli powder, salt, asafoetida and amchur powder.
Sprinkle little water and make a smooth dough. Filling is ready
Filling the lauki
Gently fill the lauki with the stuffing prepared. Slice the Laukis 1-2 " wide and set it aside.
For the curry
Heat oil in a pan, crackle cumin seeds
Add onion chopped and ginger garlic paste. Fry till onions are slightly brown.
