December is such a cozy time, isn’t it? The lights, music, and all that cake baking! I remember making my first small Christmas wine cake just to try, and it turned out so good, it became a family favourite.

This recipe is just perfect when you want something festive but simple. It’s not too big, uses common ingredients, and smells like pure Christmas joy with all that spice, butter, and wine-soaked fruits. You don’t need to be an expert to bake this!

Health Benefits
Dry fruits are packed with antioxidants, nuts give healthy fats, and wine (even non-alcoholic) helps bring in good plant compounds. Plus, homemade cakes are always better than store ones full of preservatives.

Let’s Talk About Ingredients

Dates
Adds natural sweetness and sticky texture. You can replace it with prunes if you like.

Anjeer (figs)
Great for fiber and chewiness. Can skip or use more raisins if unavailable.

Golden and Black Grapes
Give rich taste and texture. Use only black ones if needed.

Cashews and Almonds
Add crunch and nuttiness. Any nuts like walnuts or pistachios work too.

Raspberries
For slight tartness and colour. Optional but adds variety.

Non-alcoholic Wine
Adds rich, fermented aroma. You can use grape juice if avoiding wine.

Brown Sugar
Used for caramel and sweet base. It gives deep flavour compared to white sugar.

Spices like Clove Powder
Makes the cake festive and warm.

Eggs and Butter
Gives softness and richness. Keep them at room temperature.

All-purpose Flour
