Best suited for dosa /Idli or stuffed parathas.
Kadala parupu 2 tsp
Shallots 1 cup
Garlic 3 cloves
Ginger a small piece
In oil crackle mustard seeds, sauté Kadala parupu until it’s brown.strain and Keep aside. In same oil, fry shallots,ginger,garlic,red chillies,curry leaves and corriander
Sauté until onions turn pink.
Cut tomatoes into two half and toast it in little oil until it’s mushy.
Now add coconut and just fry a little. You can even switch off flame and add coconut. Let that cook in the heat. Keep aside.
Grind all the above mixtures together with salt and very little water.
Temper with mustard seeds if you prefer.
