Ingredients
to pressure cook white peas

For making the curry

Instructions
To Pressure cook White Peas
wash and soak the white peas overnight.
Drain the water and take it in a pressure cooker along with salt, turmeric powder and water.
Mix well and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles
Open and mash it slightly
To saute and grind
Heat oil in a pan and saute in onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies until onions are slightly browned.
add in roughly chopped tomatoes and saute for a min.
After a minute, add salt, turmeric powder, water, mix well and cook until the tomatoes are mushy.
Cool and grind the onion tomato mixture to a fine paste.
Making the curry
Add the prepared paste to the pan
Further add cooked peas, chilli powder, chaat masala, garam masala to the same pan.
Mix well and add water. Adjust seasoning if required
Give it a boil and put off. serve hot or use for the chaat recipes.
