Sweet pumpkin palak kichdi is sweet pumpkin and palak cooked with rice and moong dal. For babies above 1 year.
Today for my Lo i have made this yummy kichdi. Zero oil, mildly spiced and healthy kichdi. Out of all the Kichdi, this is his favorite one.:)
Sweet Pumpkin Palak Kichdi recipe:
- Put together washed rice, Moong dal , sweet pumpkin chopped, palak leaves, cumin powder, sambar powder, half green chilli, salt and water. Put all these in a cooker and cook it to 3-4 whistles.
- Mash them and mix in ghee. Serve hot!
Sweet Pumpkin Palak Kichdi
- 2-3 tbsp Rice
- 1 tbsp moong dal
- 1/4 cup sweet pumpkin - chopped
- 3-4 baby palak leaves
- 1/8 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp sambar powder
- 1/2 small green chilli
- 1 tbsp ghee
- Salt - to taste
- Put all these ingredients in a cooker and cook it to 3-4 whistles. Mash them and mix in ghee. Serve hot!
