Cook rice and paruppu seperately. 1 cup rice, 1/2 cup dhal and 4 1/2 cup water. Cook for long so that rice gets smashed well.
Heat oil, fry shallots, curry leaves and red chilli.
Saute chopped tomatoes until it gets mushy.
Add vegetables of your choice , salt , turmeric powder, little water and boil well.
Add 1 cup tamarind water, sambar powder 2 tsp to it and boil well until vegetables are cooked.
Mix it with rice and dhal with 2 Tsp ghee
mix well. Splutter mustard seeds seperately and saute sliced onions and add to it.
