Peppery Mushrooms ~ Spicy Mushroom fry

Peppery mushrooms is a pepper flavored sauted spicy mushroom recipe. If you are looking for quick and easy snack recipe with mushrooms, there you go.

Peppery mushrooms

Directions for making peppery mushrooms:

  1. Heat oil, add sliced onions and broken red chilli. Saute until its brown
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell is gone.
  3. Add sliced capsicum, sliced mushrooms, salt, turmeric and pepper powder. Fry until its roasted.

Note

  1. Optional : Add a drop of soya sauce.
  2. Saueting red chillies in oil can cause strong odour. So keep next ingredients ready. We saute in oil so that spiciness gets into the oil.
  3. Need not add water. Cook in simmer and mushrooms tend to leave water.

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium sized Onion Sliced
  • 3 to 4 Long dry Red chillies Broken and de seeded
  • 1 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 Green Capsicum Sliced
  • 1 Packet Mushroom Sliced
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Tsp Pepper powder Or more depending on spice level

Instructions

  • Heat oil, add sliced onions and broken red chilli. Saute until its brown
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell is gone.
  • Add sliced capsicum, sliced mushrooms, salt, turmeric and pepper powder. Fry until its roasted and mushrooms are cooked.
