Sabudana Upma | Sago Javvarisi Upma ( With Moong dal )
Simple, easy to make and perfect sabudana. If you find the sago being non sticky, just watch this video to make non sticky sabudana khichdi.
Unlike the usual sabudana khichdi which has potatoes or peanuts in it. This is typically south Indian traditional javvarisi upma recipe using moong dal. Use small sago pearls for better results.
3 tbsp moong dal
1 cup sago/javvarisi
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tbsp urad dal
1 tbsp chana dal
1 sprig curry leaves
3 nos green chilli broken
2 nos red chilli broken
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/8 tsp asafoetida
salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves
