Chicken Crispy Tenders

Chicken Crispy Tenders recipe given here is a perfect KFC style chicken. If you are a fan of it and want to try it at home, never be late! This is the recipe you are looking for. We just loved the crispy outer and tender inside which is why we call it crispy tenders. 🙂 Chicken Crispy tenders

 

Recipe is little time consuming but it is worth all the wait!Perfectly lip smacking and mouth watering. Here I have also given the recipe for instant Garlic mayonnaise which goes well with this chicken crisps. I can’t wait to share the recipe with you all. Here it is,

Chicken Crispy tenders

Chicken Crispy Tenders Pictorial description:

  1. Clean chicken and cut them to bite sized pieces. Marinate them with chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, garlic powder and onion powder. You get the onion powder and garlic powder in all supermarkets. So do not skip these one as it is one of main secret ingredient here in this recipe. 😉 Let it sit for 5-10 min.
    Chilli powder & Pepper powder
    Onion powder
    Garlic powder

    Ginger garlic paste
    Salt
    Mix well

  2. Meanwhile, prepare three bowls.
    • first with the maida (all purpose flour), salt and chilli powder.
    • second with the eggs, salt and chilli powder.
    • third with rolled oats, chilli powder and mixed herbs.

  3. Lets start with the Dips:
    • First Dip: Take a handful of the marinated chicken, put them in maida mix. Coat them well. Put the pieces in deep fry skimmer (perforated spatula for deep frying). Shake it well to remove the excess maida coating from the chicken.
    • Second Dip: Now, Put those chicken pieces into egg mix and coat them well. Take chicken pieces out with hands, squeeze them to take out extra eggs.
    • Third Dip: Put them back again in the maida dip and coat it well. Take in a skimmer and shake it to remove excess maida coating.
    • Fourth Dip: Put the pieces in oats mix and roll them well

      Squeeze out extra
      Put in maida mix again
      roll in oats

  4. We are done!, Get ready with all the pieces and put them in oil (in batches) and cook for 5- 10 minutes until crispy. Strain in paper towel.

  5. For the Mayonnaise dip, Take eggless/Egg mayonnaise, drop in a pinch of garlic powder and chilli powder. Mix well with a drop of water.chicken-crispy-tenders21
  6. Arrange lettuce leaves in serving bowl, and the chicken pieces in it. drizzle mayonnaise mix on top. There it is! mouth watering chicken crispy tenders. Enjoy!

Ingredients

For Marination:

  • 400 gms Chicken
  • 3/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 3/4 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt to taste

For the Maida Mix

  • 2 cup maida/All purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Egg mix

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Fo the oats Mix

  • 1 cup rolled oats Crushed with hands slightly
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs

Instructions

    Yummmmm….Cant stop eating………………for 400g chicken i used 1cup maida,2 eggs n 1/2 cup oats.half of that mentioned in the receipe and i felt was more than enough.

      Oh is it? Let me check it next time when i make them. I have used tiny chunks and made sure its completely coated with maida, sunken in eggs and then rolled in oats so that it catches up more Oats and also oats does not fall off while frying.. So it consumed more eggs and maida. Good if it took less. that’s just for the dips! Depends + or – based on size of the chicken pieces also.
