How to make Malai Kofta recipe | Paneer Kofta | Malai Kofta – A creamy and rich curry with deep-fried paneer and dry fruit dumplings. Potato and paneer koftas immersed in creamy onion curry. This is one of the popular curries in most restaurants. There are two variations in this curry – white-based curry and light yellow-based curry. While I personally prefer the light yellow-based curry, I have chosen to put up the recipe for the same.

What is Malai kofta?

Malai refers to fresh milk cream and Kofta refers to fried meat dumplings. Malai Kofta is a creamy rich curry base in which the dumplings are put in and served. While kofta refers to meatballs, it is also made with paneer and potatoes. One of the popular vegetarian curries served in most Indian restaurants. This curry can go along with Naan, Kulcha, Fried rice, Ghee rice, or chapatis.
