Andra chilly chicken/Green chilli chicken dry

Andra chilly chicken recipe is spicy chicken dry recipe with green chilies. Chicken is coated with spicy marination and dry roasted.  My DH had this andra chilly chicken somewhere in a hotel in Bangalore Mg road and was too much addicted to it that he wanted me to try the same recipe. After a couple of testing we got it right. ? It was just yummy and the best!andra chilly chicken

Andra chilli chicken directions:

  • Grind together green chilies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, lime juice and a tsp oil.
  • Marinate chicken pieces with the ground paste and let it sit for 1 -2 hours.
  • Heat oil, saute green chilies and sliced onions. Saute until brown.
  • Drop in marinated chicken pieces. Close and cook until pieces are done.
  • open and let it dry until roasted in medium flame.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg chicken
  • 5-6 long green chillies +2 for sauteing
  • 1/8 cup mint leaves
  • 1/8 cup corinader leaves
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 large onion sliced finely

Instructions

  • Grind together green chilies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, lime juice and a tsp oil.
  • Marinate chicken pieces with the ground paste and let it sit for 1 -2 hours.
  • Heat oil, saute 2 broken green chilies and sliced onions. Saute until brown.
  • Drop in marinated chicken pieces. Close and cook until pieces are done.
  • open and let it dry until roasted in medium flame.
