Omelette roll is soft, fluffy, healthy breakfast recipe best accompanied by toasted bread and fresh juice.
Me and my husband usually do some experiments every weekend in kitchen with one of our favorite ingredient. Once it was with egg and we were researching online on techniques to master perfect omelette making when we came across the roll making. It was a super hit that weekend. There on, any guests to our home were served with omelette rolls and they were like “wow”. Few even couldnt find that it was egg. It will be so soft.
This recipe is really easy just like any other omelettes but little bit of patience required and you have to master the technique of rolling the omelette without breaking it which comes only out of practice.
Mix egg, salt, chilli powder & milk. Beat it well until watery. Heat butter in nonstick pan/ omelette skillet, pour beaten egg
and let it cook a little until u can insert wooden spatula underneath without stickiness. Roll it once
and pull them to end. Pour any extra beaten egg at the other side. Push out extra egg from omelette to other side.let it cook a little.
Roll again till the end slowly and carefully. Cook only in simmer. Transfer it to a plate and cut them horizontally.
- 3 Large Eggs
- 1 1/2 Tsp chilli powder
- 2 Tsp Milk
- 1 Tbsp butter
Beat the egg, milk, salt, chilli powder to a watery consistency.
Heat butter+oil in a non stick skillet, pour beaten egg and let it cook a little until u can insert wooden spatula underneath without stickiness
Roll the omelette from your end to other with the help of two wooden spatulas. Gently roll them till end.
Transfer it to serving bowl and slice them.
Add any finely chopped vegetable of your choice to the beaten egg.
