Bananas are overly used in many Kerala recipes and this one is a simple version of banana fritters or pazham porichathu (പഴം പൊരി) not the nadan /traditional way but little different. Hence, I would call this as Pazham bonda recipe.
Traditional way of making pazham porichathu has the banana dipped in batter. But this is simple, we mix together all the ingredients and deep fry them. There is a simple banana fritters recipe with rava. Few of the banana recipes are nadan Nei appam to which we add the ripe bananas.
