Garlic chicken recipe | How to make Indian garlic chicken fry recipe

Garlic chicken – Garlic flavor in any non veg curries takes it a level higher. The flavor of roasted garlic in chicken is so tempting.

Garlic chicken

This is a semi dry/fry suitable as side dish for rice and also as snacks. You can make it as curry by adding water and boiling it to the consistency required.

I have seasoned it with roasted garlic finally which is not inthe video/recipe below as it is completely optional. But when added, it gives out a splendid aroma. garlic chicken

There are many chicken fry recipes to try like madras chicken curry, Keema balls which is a perfect and easy starters for kids.Many variations to pepper chicken recipes like spicy chicken, kurumulagu chicken, dark chicken fry, some of the regional recipes like pallipalayam chicken and chinthamani chicken which is always on most viewed in my website.

Heat OilGarlic chicken

add sliced onionsGarlic chicken

Crush garlicGarlic chicken

add it to the onionsGarlic chicken

Fry until slightly roastedGarlic chicken

Add cleaned and washed chickenGarlic chicken

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, kashmiri powder, garam masala and saltGarlic chicken

Mix well and add waterGarlic chicken

close and cook until chicken is done while stirring in betweenGarlic chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onions sliced
  • 10-15 cloves garlic
  • 400 gms chicken
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat Oil, add sliced onions and Crushed garlic. Fry until slightly roasted
  • Add cleaned and washed chicken, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, kashmiri powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well and add water.
  • close and cook until chicken is done. Stir in between.
