Nethili meen varuval recipe | Anchovy fish fry

nethili meen varuval

Nethili meen varuval recipe | Anchovy fish fry with step by step photos and video recipe. Simple fish fry where the small nethili/netholi/kozhuva meen/anchovy fish is marinated in masala and deep-fried in oil until crisp.

This is best tasted when had hot with onions. While Cleaning this fish, I usually pull out the bones from inside so that the fish can be had as such once fried and need not worry about the bones.

This is one important step to take care while cleaning. Most of the people don’t do that and they eat even the bones but while giving for kids, this is very very difficult to remove off those little bones. Instead, removing the bones and the tiny fin while cleaning is a better option.
